If you had the opportunity to see the Alash Ensemble at the WPSU studios for an Acoustic Brew (http://www.acousticbrew.org) show in spring 2010 or at this year’s Folk College (http://www.folkcollege.com), you know what an amazing group this is from Tuva. They have just released their new album Buura, which includes songs ranging from “The Reindeer Herder’s Song” to “Tractor Drivin’ Woman” (see http://www.alashensemble.com for more information).
