I’m just back from the Kerrville Folk Festival and will be playing several of this year’s finalists and winners in the New Folk Competition, established in 1978 and one of the oldest and most renowned song writing competitions.  I’ll also feature songs by past New Folk including Tom Russell, Nancy Griffith, Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle, Cosy Sheridan, Pierce Pettis, Dave Carter, and Lucinda Williams. 
Also expect songs in celebration of Flag Day, Fathers’ Day, and Juneteenth.
