If you didn’t catch this on Morning Edition Friday, it’s worth a trip to the NPR site at Stubblefield story  The story is mostly about the man who gave his name to a famous barbeque and music place,  but quite a few folky musicians are mentioned, as well as an appearance by Stubblefield and Joe Ely on the David Letterman Show.

Ah, Stubb’s Barbecue, one of my 4 favorite places in Austin: Stubbs, Threadgills/Armadillo World Headquarters, Huts and Antone’s.
