In light of recent events at Penn State in particular the decision to remove the statue of Joe Paterno I would like to hear Mary Gauthier’s, Mercy Now.

  Mercy Now is a powerful song,  one that has a secure place on my “best of” list.  I remember Mary’s terrific version of it when she sang it in State College (Lemont, actually at Acoustic Brew) a few months ago.  And I first heard it interpreted by Joe Crookston.
    Thanks for the suggestion,  and I bet one of the Folk show hosts broadcasts it this weekend.  I’ll add it to my next playlist too.
