Kate Lao Shaffner is an associate producer at WPSU-FM. She contributes feature stories to Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Kate also assists in the production of WPSU’s This I Believe and BookMark.

Kate recently earned her Master’s degree from Penn State’s School of International Affairs.  Before moving to State College, she lived in Tanzania, where she worked with a university study abroad program.
