Inside the Gulf Oil Spill

President Obama has called the Gulf Oil Spill "a potentially unprecedented environmental disaster."

The ultimate impact will depend on weather, ocean currents, the properties of the oil, and the success of efforts to contain its flow and effects. And the economic impact is as uncertain as the environmental damage.
