The StoryCorps oral history project visited Bellefonte in the summer of 2010. Listen to the stories recorded in central Pennsylvania.
This national oral history project gave central Pennsylvanians the chance to record conversations with family and friends. The interviews recorded last summer are now part of an archive at the Library of Congress. Excerpts of these interviews can also be heard on WPSU-FM and here at WPSU.org.

Naomi Carlson talks with her friend Fred Patterson, also known as Buzz. They were childhood friends growing up in Bradford in the 1930s and 40s.

Tony Gaskew talks with his former criminal justice student Timothy Rooke. Gaskew worked in law enforcement for years before becoming a professor at Pitt Bradford. Rooke is now a police officer at the school. Gaskew talks about his early life and how he got his start in law enforcement.
