Loved hearing Leo and his brother talk about the old ways . Had the prviledge of knowing Leo for years at the Yankee Peddler Festival where he played his guitar . I alsogot the chance to meet some of his lovely family over the years .and hear them sing together . What a harmonious treat !

Thank you Story Corp. I am the 4th child of Albert and Clara Steinbeiser. I want to thank you for allowing my brothers, Skip and Leo Steinbeiser to be interviewed about our family history. There are 13 of us, all living. We lived on a small farm and learned all of life’s essentials from our parents. Life was tough, but look where we all are today. We have all had wonderful and prosperous careers, far and wide, and are now coming home to Sinking Valley. We have many neices and nephews that are trying to pick up the playing of music, like our Father. We so much appreciate the opportunity you have given our brothers to do a history brief.
