Preview of Penn State vs. Texas

Penn State takes on Texas Saturday for the NCAA women’s volleyball championship. 

In Friday’s press conference both coaches lavished the other’s players with praise.  Experts have been talking about the similarities between the two teams.  Penn State coach Russ Rose pointed out that the only similarity is the athletic ability.  The teams employ different offensive schemes, but do share a host of talented attackers. 

If Penn State comes out flat on Saturday like they did against Hawaii, Texas will put the Nittany Lions away much quicker.

Along with questions about their opponent Penn State players and coach Rose faced the still obvious questions about their current 101 game win streak.
