John Krupa / Republican

Biography:

John KrupaJohn Krupa believes that business people, state and local government agencies, and community advocates need to work together. He has a plan to help businesses create new jobs, reduce costs of fuel for transportation and heat, and create a safe environment for citizens of the district.

Krupa has been an area businessman for 35 years, a Pine Creek Township supervisor, and a former Clinton County Republican Committee Chairman. He is currently president of The North Ridge Financial Group.

Krupa lives in Pine Creek with his wife. They have five children and five grandchildren.

Even if some scientists claim the debate on climate change is not settled, Congress should reduce emissions with alternative energy sources, hybrid motor vehicles, clean coal and nuclear energy.

Energy Independence

Congress should provide incentives to support sustainable energy businesses and research, as well as the personal adoption of energy-saving products and practices.

No Child Left Behind

I agree with the law’s goals, but not with its“one-size-fits-all” approach to education that overemphasizes testing and doesn't provide enough money to schools to achieve success. The law should be modified.

Transportation Funding

Credit the Highway Trust Fund for emergency expenditures paid out of the fund since 1998.
