Three Percent: Bear Hunting in Pennsylvania

Three Percent

Paddy Cotter created this story “Three Percent” last year as part of Penn State’s The John Curley Center For Sports Journalism. Students in the course examined the state of Pennsylvania’s hunting industry and culture. While Pennsylvania is home to more hunters than any other state, it’s also a sport facing participation issues and a delicate balance between ecological and economic pressures.
