Leading this year’s immersive epicurean journey is Executive Chef Mirko Loeffler of the Nittany Lion Inn. Mirko is an expert on the art of culinary design and draws on more than 40-plus years in the hospitality industry. Raised in Germany, he received his culinary education at the Hotel Fach School. He then went on to work in acclaimed four and five-star restaurants throughout Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Monte Carlo, the Caribbean, China, and the United States.

Beverages

  • Passionfruit Chilcano - ginger ale, pisco, lime, and passionfruit juice
  • Chicha Morada - purple corn, pineapple, apple, cinnamon, clove, lime, sugar

Appetizer

  • Causa - chilled aji amarillo potato salad, with chicken salad, avocado, and tomato

Entree

  • Lomo Saltado - stir-fried beef, red onion, tomato, aji amarillo, cilantro, with stir fry sauce
  • Crema de aji (Creamy aji Amarillo sauce) - aji amarillo, lime, queso fresco, sour cream, egg yolk, oil, salt, scallions, and huacatay
  • Guasacaca (Avocado cilantro sauce) - garlic, red onion, cilantro, parsley, jalapeno, avocado, salt, pepper, lime juice, and oil

Dessert

  • The Cakeshop by Tati Peruvian Chocolate Cake - chocolate cake, soaked in cinnamon syrup, with dulce de leche, and Peruvian fudge
