Conversations Live: A Time To Heal

The costs of the Vietnam War were staggering just in terms of the number of Americans and Vietnamese who lost their lives – more than 58,000 Americans, and over 2 million Vietnamese.

The Vietnam War also divided our society like no other conflict since the Civil War. And while the war officially ended with the fall of the South Vietnamese government in 1975, the lingering effects are still felt today.

Our producing team began their production process seeking the answer to two fundamental questions – Is now the time to talk about that national tragedy; and by engaging in dialogue, can we begin the process of healing in our society and for ourselves?
