The Persian New Year, or Nowruz in Farsi, is the most important cultural holiday of the year for the people of Iran and Persians around the world.

Join WPSU’s Tamra Fatemi as she shares her family’s Nowruz traditions and favorite holiday recipes with you in this special March episode of World Kitchen. Recipes will feature Sabzi Polo ba Mahi (herbed rice with saffron and fried fish), Kuku Sabzi (an herb frittata), and a variety of simple side dishes to round out the perfect meal.
