Modavlat will showcase the revered Central Asian dish, Plov. Beyond the flavors, she plans to weave the tales and legends that make Plov a cultural gem in Central Asia. With numerous recipes available, she’ll be sharing her signature version—one that holds a special place in her home.

Modavlat Gulomkodirova was born and raised in the Pamir region of Tajikistan and later pursued her education in the bustling city of London, graduating from the London School of Economics with a Masters in Management. With a passion for diverse interests, including graphic and interior design, photography, architecture, and Russian classic literature, she brings a unique blend of creativity to her life. Modavlat is fluent in four languages and her love for travel has taken her to various corners of the globe. She is currently living in the USA with her husband Aliyor, who is a Humphrey Fellow at Penn State University, and their two years old son Amir.
