Called “the second most important event in rock n’ roll history,” the concert united legends Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bo Diddley, Gene Vincent with The Doors, and John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band.

Many of the U.K.’s finest castles and palaces are close to crumbling, their stories and splendor in danger of disappearing with them. Host Nick Knowles and his team of highly skilled master crafters set about to return these treasured but troubled historic buildings to their former glory.

Martin Shaw stars as Inspector George Gently, an incorruptible cop transplanted from London to the North East of England in the mid-1960s. Lee Ingleby stars as DS John Bacchus, Gently’s young protégé. The setting is centered in New Castle upon Tyne, North Umberland and County Durham.
