Hello valued WPSU Board members!
We hope you can spare an hour, before next Tuesday’s meeting, to watch the pre-meeting informational updates and production clips.

As we begin a new year of meetings in 2022, the Executive Committee wanted to check your preferences for the best day of the week to meet all day – especially in anticipation that we will be able to meet IN PERSON beginning with our May 2022 Annual Meeting at the Penn Stater. Please complete this Doodle poll (it’s fast and friendly) to have the best attendance possible for our 2022 meetings: Please remember that we meet four (4) times a year as a full Board (February, May, August, November ) and request your presence to attend as per our By-laws.

Jessica Peters, our WPSU Membership Director, is inviting each Board member to join in a special Thank you Phone Blitz! On November 17 and 18 we’d love for you to join us as we call our donors to thank them for their generosity that keeps us strong as an organization. We will provide you with basic donor information, scripts to use, an FAQ sheet, and feedback forms in case a donor has a specific Membership question or comment that requires a callback. The days will be broken in to 2-hour shifts from 9AM-5PM, with TV donors contacted primarily on 11/17 and FM donors contacted primarily on 11/18.
If you participate, we will need you to be in the building, just so the calls are coming from a Penn State number, but the calls can be done from an office or empty cube space that is appropriately distanced from anyone else in the area. Or, alternatively, we will have phones set up in the Volunteer Area just past the radio suite. Please note that if you are in the Volunteer Area you will need to please wear a mask, including while calling.
Jessica understands that since these calls need to originate from our studio in University Park, that may be difficult for our out-of-town board members, and we certainly understand. We wanted to make sure everyone is invited to volunteer!
